Blacksburg Community Band Membership

Membership in the band is open to individuals of all ages and ability levels from the New River Valley and surrounding areas. No auditions are required and there are no dues or fees. Members volunteer their time and talents.

Current members range in age from teenagers to senior adults. They include housewives, students, managers, engineers, retailers and teachers, to name a few. All share the common bond of having fun by making music and sharing this joy with the community.

Concerts are generally free and open to the public and promote the community and family values that are so important to our society.
